I co-founded this amazing program with the American Women for International Understanding to bring together The FBI, Homeland Security, the State Department, Foreign Services, World Bank, Global Health Services, the Peace Corps, International Affairs professors and respresentatives from the United Nations. All in one room for the Inaugural Youth Consortium and Leadership Round Table: Career Opportunities for International Relations. Then off to the International Women of Courage Awards Celebration to meet the 2015 global honorees who despite societal pressure, continued to fight for human rights. Today was truly an amazing experience. An international Relations Major's dream come true.
As one of the three co-founders, I received a U.S. Congressional Acknowledgement Certificate from Congresswoman Karen Bass.
