Sorry, I am not Brazilian...

This seems to be the most common phrase for me these days. Even the other people on the tours we take come up to me thinking I am the tour guide! LOL. Lots of people think Azmera (my good friend a fellow classmate) and I are twins so we both get the ???s and looks. Then they ask "Where are you from?" And when I say Los Angeles... then comes the confused... "Huh?"

And in only three days our Portuguese has improved so much! I'm beginning to think first in Portuguese :)

Have to apologize for not posting as much but my phone and computer are having issues - trying to sort it all out but has been a major setback! With classes, travel, and cultural programs our days are jammed packed. Loving every minute of it!
