Salvador: The Land of Ever-Changing Weather And Temperatures.

It is extremely difficult to get dressed for the day in the morning here. It will be cold when you wake up, so you dress accordingly only to be struck with an outrageous amount of heat when you walk outside. Or, it will be sunny and hot for the first few hours of the day, and within ten minutes it will be storming rain outside. That is exactly what happened our first day here in Salvador. We had just stepped off the bus to see the beautiful fort of Salvador, when it suddenly began to poor down rain extremely hard. This was the only picture I was able to capture. Looking back at the picture, those clouds should have been our warning

We ran back to the bus soaking wet, and agreed to move on! Talk about a rude awakening!

This was not the only time that this has happened to us, and we have only been here a week! The whether is extremely bipolar and unpredictable.

Two hours later

When we went to visit the grand golden church of Pelourinho, these were the videos I captured.

However, the next morning, we were blessed with this beautiful weather and scenery.

So much different then living in always-sunny-Southern-California, this was seriously new and different to me. The climate in general is so hot and the humidity is out of this world! There has not been a moment where I have not been sweating, literally, that is how bad it is. But hey, all the moisture in the air is great for my hair! Hello curls
